South Beach TV show on UPN

Here is the pitch: “South Beach” is about two best friends, Matt and Vince, who leave their New York City lives behind and move to South Beach loking for a better future. Matt is preoccupied with his fashion-model ex-girlfriend Ariel, who sweeps him up into her exciting new life. Meanwhile, Vince finds the dark side of South Beach while trying to get ahead.

The drama stars Vanessa Williams. The show’s tag line is: Living their dreams was more dangersous than they imagined.

So far, it sounds very formulaic. I’d say it took the producer 10-minutes to come up with the concept. To get it right, I hope they get some locals involved. That’s what made “Miami Vice” so cool.

A reality show about people living in South Beach would be far more interesting. I loved MTV’s “Real World Miami”, and look at all the comments “Miami Ink” created.

The premiere of “South Beach” is January 11 at 8pm on UPN. The two-hour pilot episode is titled “I’m not your baby”.

we were spooiiiiiled when it came to food. catered and everything. i don’t want to reveal too much info, i might totally lose my carreer as an extra if anyone found out i was one to leak information.. but i am only going to say that it was put together by a talented group of people, and everyone was fun and down to earth.

Check the credits after the show. You may want to record the show so you can press pause. The credits roll-by pretty fast.

Wow i seen the first and third episode, they were awesome, its the OC with a bit of the sopranos, i love the music and girls in the show, Ari’s sexy, were did they find her?
