Our Simple Hurricane Cancellation Policy

Welcome to hurricane season folks. Tropical Storm Fay, which as I type is beginning to hit Cuba, is projected to pass somewhere between Key West and the Dry Tortugas on Monday night as a category one hurricane.  This is unnerving for locals who are now faced with buying supplies, a gas rush, evacuations and the possible cancellation of the first day of school.  What about vacationers though?  What about any tours or transportation booked?  With South Florida’s first storm of the 2008 season looming just 200 miles away, the Miami Beach 411 team wants to remind all of it’s tour and transportation guests of our Simple Hurricane Cancellation Policy.

Here at Miami Beach 411, we understand that a hurricane can be a stressful event.  Our team has experienced many storms both individually and together.  We realize though that not everyone has experienced a hurricane.  Because of this, we also understand that a hurricane is the last thing you want to deal with while on vacation.  For these reasons, our Simple Hurricane Cancellation Policy was created.  It is pretty simple.

If you have a prepaid tour or a prepaid reservation for transportation through Miami Beach 411 which is canceled due to a hurricane, you will receive a full refund. That’s right- we promise to waive all cancellation fees. Not one penny will be charged. While a hurricane may not be our fault, it’s not a guest’s either.

We are happy to change travel dates as well.  We will attempt to contact all affected guests within 24 hours of their booked travel.  Guests are also encouraged to contact us directly.  Contact will be attempted at the telephone numbers and e-mail addresses provided when reserving.  Guests will be offered a full refund or a date change. 

Guests requesting date changes will receive e-tickets confirming changes within 12 hours.  Guests requesting refunds will have the funds credited back to the credit card used at booking within one business day.  Guests requesting refunds will also receive a receipt via e-mail for the refund.

Simple, huh?  Yup, it makes our lives simpler too.  We simply want our guests to be happy.  Simple.
