The Palmer House Hotel is very deceiving from the photos. The pictures make it seem like a decent place to stay for an affordable price. The hotel does NOT have a recpetion desk, all matters must be handled at the front desk of the Tudor Hotel next door. There is no real security in the lobby of the Palmer, just a guy reading a book. The toilet im my room would not flush if there was toilet paper in it. So for an entire week toilet paper had to be placed in the trash can. There was a chunk of tile missing from the floor under the a/c, the ironing board was broken, the bathtub had been painted with wall paint and the remote control had no batteries. After getting batteries from the hotel, the remote stopped functioning the next night. It took two days to get a replacement remote control. Then after spending an afternon at the beach I returned to my room with my roommate for the week to discover both our ipods had been stolen from our room. Spend your money elsewhere. This hotel is not worth it.
