David Barton Gym: This gym is in the dumps literally

It is unclear how the previous reviewer reached such rave reviews for this gym. The gym is located in the damp basement of the Delano hotel. To find it, you must snake your way through the corridors of the basement, moving past the garbage facilities which emit putrid odors all day. On hot days, the smell of rotting garbage is overwhelming and would deter the most dedicated athlete from working out. There is no A/C in the gym, just fans; lighting is poor and much of the equipment has visible rust. They couldn’t pay me to work out in that gym.

Wow. Crappy. It has moved from there to 23rd and Collins next to the Gansevort Hotel. It is the hottest, most beautiful gym I have ever seen and I just joined. Glad they made a MAJOR upgrade
