Cafe Pappillon: Terrible Service, Rude Owner  

My husband, mother-in-law and I had a very frustrating dining experience at Cafe Papillon.  The food was less than par and on top of that, the service was terrible. My mother-in-law had to take her meal home because it wasn’t ordered with ours.  The waiter didn’t check on us after we ordered and we could not find him to let him know we were missing a plate.  He finally showed up at our table (25 minutes after we received our food and she had not received hers) then placed the order late.  Then the owner questioned us as to whether or not we ordered two meals as an appetizer and one as an entree.  We wound up paying for the third meal (which had to be eaten at home) because the owner said we threatened him and he didn’t take kindly to threats, therefore he would not comp the meal that came very, very late.

The food is overpriced, sub-par and not worth the hassle of flaky and attitudinal service.  Plus the owner is RUDE and less than accommodating to patrons of his own establishment.
