Wave Hotel: Never Stay at the Wave Hotel

This hotel is not the worst, but it is not good either. Don’t let the pictures fool you. The rooms are so tiny. My friend and I could not walk/stand side by side in any given area of the room. The mini bar is not cold and the libations are expensive. The bathroom is hideous. There is mold in the ceiling and peeling paint in the shower, beware not to touch it because it will come off on your hands. The room has a moist type of feeling when the a/c is not on which contributes to the awful smell of mildew. The elevator is absolutely ancient, something out of an 18th century horror flick. The only nice part was the veranda on the front of the hotel. The location is OK, but it is away from all of the South Beach excitement. I definitely will not stay there again ever. The phrase buyer beware, is an understatement for this establishment!!!
