Fratelli La Bufala (FLB): Dishonest host  

We thought this looked like a great restaurant & it was close to our hotel.  So, I went in to put our name down for a party of 6, which included my 18-month old son.  The owner or host, who spoke Italian, said that the party by the window was almost done, and that would be our table.  I went back inside about 10 minutes later just to confirm as it was starting to get busy.  He again, said yes, they were almost done and it would be our table.  When the large party left, I noticed that they were splitting up the tables, so I went in to ask what was going on.  The host/owner said that wasn’t our table, that he couldn’t seat us there, because a party of 5 would have the other part.  I noted that the party of 5 came in much later than we did.  I reminded him that he told me that there were only two parties of two in front of us and he had assured me that we would get the table recently vacated.  He lied to my face and said that the party of 5 were on the list before me.  I again reminded him of our conversation and he rudely said,  things change. He said another table would be opening soon and walked away from me.  We left as we wouldn’t give our money to a liar!
