Larios: Disappointing service  

Last night I went to Larios at the beach with some friends. I thought this was a very good place to take my friends from NY because they wanted to have Cuban food. Honestly it was my first and LAST time I go there. Service was terrible. We had to ask the waitress more than two times for a glass of water, never brought water to the table. I wanted to have a cuban sandwich because it was too late to have a heavy meal and the waitress said this was not possible because they only serve sandwiches till 6:00pm. This doesn’t make any sense to me at all. The waiter explained to us that the sandwiches area in the kitchen was closed already. This is not good at all, they should have sandwiches all day long so people can have what they really want.

When we finished dinner the waitress brought the bill and said she needed to close the table. We let her know that we wanted to split the bill because some of my friends had cash and different credit cards but she didn’t split the bill. It was a mess. I guess she forgot like she did with the glass of water.
I’m very disappointed. Don’t think I will bring friends or family to this place again, rather go to La Carreta or Sergios in Gables where they also serve good Cuban food. The service is much better and inexpensive.
