Best Western : Bad Service Rude Staff
I thought hotels are supposed to be customer oriented. The so called concierge was rude and direspectful to my wife and the staff with the exception of ONE valet and ONE desk person was helpful. No one greeted guests at the hotel with a “good morning” while exiting or passing them, there was NO doorman, bellhops were not to be seen. I tried to check out this morning 5/22 and waited 20 minutes to be checked out because there WAS NO one at the front desk or in the lobby (at 5am), anyone could have walked into the hotel and head up to the elevators without being seen or challenged. The valet service was ok due to the fact the hotel’s garage was being renovated. But there’s a half hour rule about getting the car, which they lied to me and told me the car will be right there, but I got it an hour later. The lobby & pool and beach access is nice. The staff is horrible, so is the service. I hope the other hotels in Miami Beach aren’t like this. I guess the so called “New York Attitude” has now been taken over by the staff of this hotel. Best Western needs too have training classes for the employees at this hotel and hold them accountable for keeping their guests happy, which on my trip I saw most guest were not, including myself. Or, just fire all of them. “WORST WESTERN”.
