Me and a friend were looking for a little romantic place to share a plate and forget about the noise of the beach. Well, thanks to Miami Beach 411, we found A LA Folie! What a nice place. We had a great deal with the Platte Royale; just $18 and is good for 2 to share (huge plate with different cheese, pate, salad, hams, etc.). Of course, I suggest to have wine with it. It will make your dinner a little bit expensive, but still worth it. Service is great, Ambience AMAZING!!! It’s like Europe inside SOBE… Of course, we are planning to visit again next weekend to try the crepes. They are supposed to be heavenly delicious… LOL!

Yes, that section Espanola Way has an über Euro feel.
For years I’ve heard good things about, A La Folie.
I like to hear when two people can have a nice meal in South Beach for under $40. There should be more places like that.
We should make a list called “Under $40, that shows the good restaurants where two people can eat for under forty dollars. Here are the places I know about:
- 11th Street Diner
- Sushi Rock
- San Loco
- Lime
- News Cafe
- The Argentine Bakery on Lincoln Rd.
- Johnny Rockets
- Puerto Sagua
- Pasha’s
- El Rancho Grande
