However, they say success is not always measured by wealth but how one carries himself. Their websites states that they believe that the proper way to carry yourself is with a load of money in your pocket, a beautiful face and body, and killer clothes. A bit arrogant, no? User reviewsMynt "loved the atmosphere, hated the doorman"Date: September 29, 2005 Reviewer: Miami Beach 411 User, Cincinnati, OH My boyfriend and I visited Mint in South Beacdh on Aug of 2005. We purchased a table and were escorted to it immediately. Our table waitress was wonderful, the bouncer inside the club could not have been nicer and we like the atmosphere. However, because the club was only half full we decided to ask them to hold our table and we ran over to Mansion for a while to look for friends. Upon returning to the club, which was still half empty, the doorman told us that there was a private party there that night (a blatant lie) and we could not enter. After explaining to him that we had all ready purchased a table he allowed us back in. This guy had major attitude..and I honestly can not understand why this club (or any club for that matter) would be turning away classy people (and we were not the only ones) rather than trying to fill up the club. More money for them, more fun for their customers. I won't return due to this experience. Mynt "My Birthday Fiasco" Date: May 23, 2005 Reviewer: Miami Beach 411 User, Miami, FL I made table reservations for my birthday may 21 2005 and tried to confirm them on the day of my birthday but no one picked up. I got there to find out that no one had my reservation. The did not let in Michael Strahan from the new york Giants! He was standing out side for a half hour with 3 other players before he got furious and left. Very poor service. They don't ever pick up the phone and the door guys are rude. Have been there before but the quality of people running the place have gone down. If you want the definition of rude and want to be judged by the little people,then go to the door at Mynt and try to get in.
