What’s There To Do? (MIFF and Carnaval)

The 26th Miami International Film Festival is happening at theaters all over the city March 6th - 15th. Full length, shorts, documentaries, fiction, foreign films and more, there is something for everyone. For you Hitchcock fans, don’t miss his films going on through March and April at Miami Beach Cinematheque beginning with Rear Window tonight.

The annual Carnaval on the Mile takes place on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables all weekend long. Attention shoppers! In conjunction with the Carnaval, the shops in downtown Coral Gables will be holding a Sidewalk Sale.

On the stage, Robin Williams takes the stage at Hard Rock Live. Miami Light Project’s Here and Now, a collection of works by South Florida-based artists, returns to the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Menopause: The Musical continues at the Parker Playhouse.

The Historical Museum of Southern Florida is offering several tours this weekend: Secrets of Coconut Grove Twilight Walking Tour beginning at Miami City Hall, the Pioneer Homestead Walk followed by a Mexican lunch at Casita Tejas Restaurant, and the African Diaspora Coach Tour.
