What’s There To Do? (Swim Week)

image

Swim Week is the week the fashion industry shows off their bathing suit collections for next year. Runway shows and related events are going on around town all weekend. Some to check out include: the Inca Cruise Collection at the new W South Beach; Shay Todd at WET (W South Beach); Miranda M at Opium (you’d have to drive to Hollywood - Florida, not California - for this one); a cocktail party at Tommy Hilfiger; Luli Fama at The Raleigh. Luli Fama is just one collection at The Raleigh’s weekend-long event sponsored by Mercedes-Benz. Visit www.mbfashionweek.com to see their full schedule. Louis Bar-Lounge will host the Inca After Party tonight (Thursday) and the L*Space by Monica Wise 2010 Swim Collection After Party Friday.

Not interested in Swim Week? There are other events that may interest you. Want to support a local charity? John Digweed will be at the Diggers & Shakers party at The Vagabond to raise funds for the Community Partnership for Homeless tonight. Looking for comedy? Josh Blue is at Miami Improv. Want to be part of the show? Check out Tony & Tina’s Wedding Friday & Saturday at Mansion. In the mood for a movie? See what the Cinematheque and MAM have to offer. How about a bike ride? The Bike Miami Ride will leave Legion Memorial Park at 8:30 Sunday morning. Need something to do with young kids? Thomas & Friends is on stage at the Broward Center. Want more? Visit the Event Calendar to see what else is going on.
