Delivery Food From T-Mex Restaurant (San Loco)

Above: The delivery man and me.

Today, for lunch we ordered Mexican food from T-Mex restaurant.

T-Mex was formerly known as San Loco. They actually have kept everything the same including owners, managers, and menu.

Katalina, Gus, and I had soft shell chicken tacos. Gus opted for a kick in his tacos and ordered them HOT while Katalina and I just settled for mild. Michelle ordered the chicken quesadilla which looked really yummy as well. Everyone at the MB411 office knows that no Mexican order is complete without my order of guacamole and chips.

Michelle’s chicken quesadilla - $4.75

Kristine’s guacamole and chips - $4.50 (and yes that is a parking ticket next to the guac, thanks City of Miami Beach!)

Gus’ HOT chicken tacos - $2.75 a piece.

Total for 4 people which included 5 tacos, a big bowl of guac with chips, one quesadilla, and two Arizona Teas came out to $33.07.

T-MEX is located at 235 14th Street, Miami Beach, and their phone number is (305) 538-3009.

Since grocery shopping is such a chore I’ve been living on takeout. I order from Giardino Salads and Juice and Java.
    That’s it really.

    Good job, Kristine.

We should note, T-Mex forgot the salsa for Michelle’s quesadilla.

I like T-Mex for how they marinate the shredded chicken. Therefore, i always order the chicken soft tacos.

I have yet to try it, but the big taco salad looks good.

Next time, would you ask for NO sour cream on the guacamole and chips?

Is the food quality the same as San Loco? If not, why’d they change the name if everything is the same? I used to live without shouting distance of that location and only had horrible experiences.  I definitely am not a picky eater when it comes to Mexican food (as it isn’t neuroscience to prepare) and usually will give a place at least 2 visits before I put it in my “never return under any circumstances” file.

I’d probably stick with Lime if I lived on the Beach.
