Put the pedal to the metal in a supped up go kart at Mega Race Track in Miami, Florida.
Michelle and I went go karting and it was a blast! We had heard about Miami GP Raceway, and decided to make it our Friday night date. On our way, we had a pit stop at Roberts Taco Shop in Hialeah, and then it was off to the races.
For those who don’t know, Miami GP Raceway is a 1/4 mile go kart track near the Opa Locka Airport.

Mega Racing
The track is open Monday to Friday from 6pm to 11pm.
Your go kart race lasts 15 minutes; this includes a 5-minute qualifying warm-up and a 10-minute race.
The cost is $30 which includes a $10 annual memberships fee.
You must be at least 50 inches tall to ride, and prepared for a workout. The race was much more physically demanding than we were expecting.
For go kart enthusiasts, near the track you can also find go kart repair shops, parts dealers, and a snack bar with arcade games.
