The finale of the DJ Mash-Up Battle of the Sexes at Club Dream is Thursday. This is the night the Best Gal from the last 12 weeks goes against the Best Guy. Three Emerging Artists of Miami, Penny Fraser (woodworking), Luis Navarro (woodworking), and Christine Lyall (painting and mixed media), will be on display at Rex Art Framing also on Thursday. See The Bugchasers, a dance theater event not for the faint of heart, at Carnival Center’s Studio Theater Thursday through Saturday.

Enjoy the Hunters Moon at Fruit & Spice Park Friday. Or visit the Miami Beach Antique Jewlery & Watch Show at the Convention Center (runs Friday through Sunday).

Miami Beach Cinematheque’s last Cronenberg films of the month will be shown this weekend. Naked Lunch is scheduled for 8:30 Thursday night and Crash is scheduled for 8:30 Friday night. Docuspain is also at the Cinematheque. Comandante, an Oliver Stone documentary/discussion with Fidel Castro, will be shown Saturday night at 8:30.

Tommy Lee and DJ Aero are at Mansion Saturday night.

Univision Radio’s AMOR 107.5 FM’s Amor a la Música is at the AA Arena Sunday night. Appearances by Juanes, Alejandro Fernandez, Gloria Estefan, Laura Pausini, Alexander Pires and more are expected.

It’s a busy week at Fillmore Miami Beach with Comedy Central’s Sarah Silverman Sunday night, the Idan Raichel Project Tuesday night and the Young Wild Things Tour, featuring Fall Out Boy, Plain White T’s, Gym Class Heroes, and Cute is What We Aim For, Wednesday night (Fall Out Boy and Gym Class Heroes are supposed to be at Cameo for the official after party).

Last, but certainly not least, Annie Lennox will be at Carnival Center’s Ziff Ballet Opera House Wednesday night.

Visit the Event Calendar if I’ve left you looking for still more (there could be last minute Halloween additions, plus the ongoing events are all there). Don’t forget to send me your event!
