I’m Bored, What’s There To Do? (Films vs Concerts)

The Ft Lauderdale Gay & Lesbian Film Festival begins today with a film and afterparty at the Parker Playhouse. The Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival continues around town through Sunday. Also, Miami Beach Cinematheque is introducing High Definition this month with the series “The Best of Cannes in HD!” beginning with the latest Palm d’Or winning film 4 months, 3 weeks, & 2 days playing all weekend long.

Big names in music to check out this week: Bruce Springsteen, Ja Rule, B.B. King & Joe Bonamassa, Chicago, Eric Clapton, Kanye West, Kid Rock, and Isreal’s superstar Noa.

In the theater it’s the final days of La bohème, Twelve Angry Men with Richard Thomas, and Forbidden Broadway.  Julius Caesar and The Accomplices at GableStage will continue into May.
