If you have an appreciation for antiques, the Miami Beach Antique Show is at the Convention Center Thursday (1/31) through Monday (2/4), and the 15th Annual Miami International Map Fair is at the Historical Museum of South Florida Saturday (2/2) and Sunday (2/3). For slightly more current objects, Miami Modernism, the display and sale of 20th century furnishings and art is at the JL Knight Center Friday (2/1) through Sunday.

For those of you looking to improve your business skills, the Internet Dating and Social Networking Conferences are at the Convention Center and Quality Training USA is offering six business workshops (four in Spanish) at the Doral Resort Thursday and Friday.

For music, Rod Stewart is at Hard Rock Live Thursday and Friday; spend a cabaret-style Evening with Christine Andreas at the Adrienne Arsht Center (the former Carnival Center) now through Sunday; Grammy Award winning Paquito D’Rivera and his Quintet will be at the Gusman Center Saturday; Naughty & Nice, a cabaret, is at Arts at St Johns Saturday and Sunday.

It’s a busy weekend at the Cinematheque with Cine-IMPROV! Thursday, the final Fellini film E La Nave Va (And The Ship Sails On) Friday, and the first Amos Gitai film Kadosh (Sacred) Saturday.

At the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, comedy troupe Capitol Steps is there through Sunday and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will be on the stage through February 10th.

For more excitement, check out the Ebony Fashion Show at the BankUnited Center Friday; the Singles Zap Dating Party at GEM Nightclub Saturday; and I just heard from Mansion - Robin Thicke will be there live Friday and you can party with Markus Schulz Saturday.

You should also know that this is the last weekend for The Little Dog Laughed at GableStage (coincidentally, I’m seeing it tomorrow but not at the GableStage. Let’s discuss if you go!) and the He-Men Woman Haters Club exhibit at the Carol Jazzar Contemporary Art Gallery.

There’s still more!!! Visit the Event Calendar to see it all. And send me your event to have it added!
