At the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts, South African actor and playwright Greig Coetzee brings two one-man shows, White Men with Weapons and The Blue Period of Milton Van der Spuy, Wednesday (12/13) - Sunday (12/17); Miami City Ballet presents The Nutcracker Friday (12/15) - Sunday (12/17); legendary trumpeter Arturo Sandoval will be in concert on Saturday (12/16); and “Master of the Unusual,”  Michael Lauziere, will perform on Sunday (12/17).

For you singles, there’s a “Meet Me” Event at VINO Miami on Thursday (12/14). Scream Tour 5 is at the AmericanAirlines Arena Friday (12/15). Saturday (12/16) is a busy night with Seminole Hard Rock’s Boat Parade, Y100 Jingle Ball at the BankAtlantic Center, and Kevin Nealon at Parker Playhouse. On Sunday (12/17), see the film Wings of Desire at the Bass Museum or Klezmer Company Orchestra’s “Salsa, Strings and Swing” at the Jackie Gleason.
