411 Photo of the Week: The Chainsaw Scene from Scarface

June 04, 2010 By Gus in  | 4 Comments

This week’s photo comes from GethinThomas ‘s Flickr.

Who knows what makes this building on Ocean Drive famous? I’ll tell you - it’s where Brian De Palma and Al Pacino filmed the chainsaw scene from the movie “Scarface”. Next time you watch the film see if you can recognize the round window inside the shower.

Great movie. A classic Al Pacino flick. Nice to see that the setting of the chainsaw scene had been preserved.
