James Moore "Gus"
Biography
My full name is James Robert Moore Jr., but I was
nicknamed Gus
at my baby shower and it stuck. I grew up in Encinitas, CA, and
relocated to Miami Beach in 2000. I am the Site Administrator at
MiamiBeach411.
I have a creative background. In the late 90’s I got hooked
on the web thing and started building sites. I became consumed with
local search when my father was visiting and wanted to play golf.
I went online to search for a golf course in Miami Beach and became
very frustrated with the results. From that moment on, I became
devoted to creating a local search engine that would connect Miami
to the web.
Interests
I express my musical side with Senor
Loco. I enjoy surfing waves and mountains; however, the lack
there of leaves me mostly surfing the web.
