Samantha Gibb & The Cartel will be performing live at Purdy Lounge on Friday, July 6, 2012, for their first Miami show in five years.

WHAT:
Samantha Gibb & The Cartel will have their first live musical performance in Miami since they have returned home from Nashville, TN. They are eager and excited to perform live in their hometown once again, in the very first venue the band ever performed live, Purdy Lounge.

WHO:
Samantha Gibb & The Cartel recently returned home to Miami after living in Nashville, TN for a little over four years. During this time, the band performed at multiple showcases, wrote new songs, rerecorded old songs and produced a documentary titled, “A Nashville State of Mind”. The documentary captured the band’s experience in meeting a group of musicians who, all alike, were not country artists yet all resided in Music City. Last year, after a summer tour in Europe, Samantha Gibb & The Cartel decided to move back to their roots and make Miami their home base once again. Starting the year off, in February, lead singer Samantha Gibb sang at Hard Rock Live in Ft. Lauderdale with her Uncle, Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees.
