Event Details:
Tamarina's Italian Prosperity Feast will feature an abundance of luxury and decadence designed to promote well-being and good fortune in the coming year.
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a welcome cocktail titled “Calends Fizzâ€. Custom created for the occasion by Tamarina’s lead mixologist Nathan Rogers, the cocktail is inspired by the ancient Roman tradition of exchanging gifts of honey-soaked figs and dates in glass jars as a symbol of abundance and promise of plentiful things to come in the New Year. In the modernized concept of this tradition, Tamarina will serve a fig based punch recipe made up of Aged Rum, Fresh Citrus, Muddled Figs, Spice-Infused Honey, Black Tea and a touch of Manzanilla Sherry ladled into Mason Jars and then topped off with Prosecco.
Building on this concept of abundance and opulence, the delicious prix fixe menu will feature a seafood platter with various frutti di mare for starters. The feast will continue with big eye tuna crudo paired with pomegranate and jalapeño. A lobster salad with sage and honey yogurt will prepare diners for the main course choice of house made pumpkin torelli topped with black caviar, filet with truffles, or a perfect seared branzino. No New Year’s celebration will be complete without Tamarina’s decadent tiramisu topped with 24k gold leaf for a sparkly and luxurious New Year. Guests will be welcomed to stay after dinner and dance the night away to the fun sounds of DJ Pierre Zonzon with special open bar cocktails and drinks.
The magical evening will be divided into two seatings. First seating at 7pm will feature the fixed menu for $95 or $130 with expertly paired wines of Vermentino, Macon-Villages, Tempranillo, Riesling and Limoncello.
