The Imperial will showcase one of Miami’s creative forces, AMANI, performing songs from their recent independently released album “SKYAâ€, Tuesday, August 19, 2014 beginning at 10pm. AMANI is an innovative duo, with a sound founded in roots rock/reggae. AMANI~ in Arabic means “the deepest desire for the greatest goodnessâ€, and in Swahili means Peace. AMANI is a high energy rollercoaster of conscious lyrics, electric vocals, and skanky tempo changes.
