We dined at Wish and loved it. The food was great, especially the
Osso Bucco! Great service and environment.

Each year during Art Basel Miami, a group of friends dine at Wish.
We found it our first year at Art Basel and we ensure we return each
year. The food, service, and atmosphere are outstanding. In
2004, the service surpassed their usually high standards. The artists
Eva & Adele joined our group for dinner. They were stuggling
a bit with some of the terms on the menu because they were from
Germany. Our waiter launched into flawless German and assisted Eva
& Adele with their orders. Everyone had an excellent dinner
and I was dumbfounded that our waiter could speak German just when
we needed it!
Plan a long, leisurely dinner and enjoy yourselves. Over several
years, we've tried many of the dishes and everything has been wonderful.
They are particulaly talented with seafood. In our experience, everything
from cocktails to appetizers to desserts have been flawless.
When requested, the waitstaff gladly provided separate checks for
members of our group. I believe that is a service all restaurants
should provide. Unfortunately, a large number of restaurants won't
do this. If requested before ordering, this request should be accommodated.
At Wish, they didn't even flinch.
Do be prepared - the gratuity is usually included. We missed that
the first year and added yet another large tip onto our bill. No
wonder we're treated so well when we return each December!
Book ahead, don't rush yourself, and enjoy a wonderful evening
in South Beach at Dish. You'll be glad you did.
The Hotel "Have

If you stay at The Hotel make sure that you have dinner at Wish,
the food is outstanding. Make a reservasion ahead of time, as it
seemed very busy at dinner time.

Outstanding. Best rest in South Beach. Expensive but worth ever
penny. Greatatmosphere - romantic - wait staff worked very hard
to make enjoyable - Chef's creations were fantastic. Highly recommended.
Outside seating was fabulous.

You just cannot beat Wish's combination of high style dining room,
accommodating wait staff and fantastic food. From first appetizer
to dessert, the menu is well-planned and just unique enough without
being precious. And the menu works-- nothing weird or inedible.
Everything is delicious. The portions are perfect, libations are
cold and strong, and the whole place exudes South Beach cool and
elegance. It ain't cheap, but it's great!
