My friend had been to Johnny Rockets two years before and raved about their milk shakes. Once we arrived, we were treated like royalty by everyone there. So polite and friendly. Although all we wanted were shakes and fries, they were both excellent. The friendliness of the staff alone made our visit memorable and we will certainly return again if we get back to South Beach. Today after encountering horrible service at the South Beach store, they lost our loyalty. We sat down at 3:00 p.m. and by 3:30 p.m. after beckoning several times for service, we could see various waiters arguing over who was not going to take care of us. Three members of the staff found time to sing and dance to a disco song. Finally, the waiter who had told us several times that he would send someone over decided to wait on the people next to us who had just sat down. We left and went over to the Van Dyke where they served us promptly. By the way, their hamburgers are outrageously delicious.
