If you are planning to stay at the Lily Leon this contains important
information about what you should expect depending on your intent
of the stay.
If you are in town for business and you like not sleeping because
of excessive noise from the hotel bar (directly under room 202)
or the Miami Collin's Avenue street noise (directly outside of room
202) and can function on four hours sleep, then this is the place
for you. Parking is valet, but you have to find an open spot to
park until the valet parks for you following check in. Not as simple
as it sounds. There is no reserved parking for the hotel as they
are right on Collins. The rooms were quite attractive and clean
and the pictures do represent what you are getting. My A/C was marginally
functional but did cool the room after several hours. The beds were
great. Now, if you are coming for spring break, really like motorcycles
showing off up and down the street, and the lively night life, then
you will be in absolute heaven. The hotel has a young staff that
isn't always looking out for customer service rather has a job out
of necessity. I won't stay there again because I travel on business,
however my daughter would love it. Be prepared for the typical South
Beach crowd and a passive attitude from hotel personel and you'll
be fine.
