Reservations were made on line for a "Penthouse" @ 454.00 per night. It was a very special occasion. I booked this for my daughter and her fiance with my credit card. Fran personally contacted the manager 3 times including up to the day of arrival concerning dinner reservations and incidentals. She received 3 e mail confirmations. She called to say they would check in around 7 pm. No problem. Then she and her fiancee arrived and were told the "charges" were denied and they had already rented out the room to someone else! I called my bank and was told whoever processed the charge put in the wrong expiration date. No one bothered to call me. No one asked when she arrived if there was another form of payment. She was very rudely talked to by the front desk and told to "leave the hotel" when she questioned the problem. Fran could easily have sorted out the issue. She had planned a small gathering for her fiancee's birthday and were willing to spend good money for a penthouse. They went to Loew's on the beach and were treated royally. This "boutique" hotel has a lot to learn from the big guns....shame on your management, your personnel and your poor customer service!!!!!!!!! I will tell everyone we know and they will tell a friend and so on and so on......

A different surrounding. Quaint imaginative rooms. EXCELLENT front desk service and seriously honest housekeeping! The best place I have ever stayed in all of my many travels. Edson, the front desk clerk had tremendous knowledge & was most helpful. He knew the places to go & see & at the best rates. The staff made our visit to Miami memorable.
