The Blue Moon is listed on the National Register
of Historic Places. The property is a union of two hotels--the
Art Deco-style Lafayette and the Mediterranean-style Les Suites, now
bridged by an arched breezeway.
The guest rooms are decorated in a Mediterranean style. Each
room is furnished with luxury amenities, including cotton bathrobes,
fresh flowers, bottled water, CD player, minibar, coffee maker, irons
and ironing boards, and complimentary safes. Phones feature private
voicemail and two lines per room. Each room houses an armoire and
sitting area with furniture that is upholstered in bright, tropical
colors.
Valet parking is available, but you can save a few dollars and park
at the nearby 13th Street and Collins Ave. garage for a rate of $8
